The band is based in West Sussex and specializes in mainstream Jazz from the 40s, 50s & 60s. Every member has had a wealth of experience in the music business covering all styles of performance.

Arthur Catt worked on the Mecca circuit in the 60s and 70s with Ray McVay, Andy Ross and Ken Macintosh. He worked for Cunard lines for seven years on the QE2 and played in all the West End theatres on various shows throughout the years.

Dave Quincy's first professional gig was with Jet Harris of the Shadows. In 1966 he formed a jazz quintet playing at Ronnie Scott's in Gerrard Street. In 1969 he formed the jazz/rock group "IF" and toured the USA. In the 1980s Dave returned to London with the Latin/jazz group SEMUTA.

Godfrey Shepherd was a member of rock star Keith Emerson's original trio. He was involved in theatre work in London for the Bernard Delfont organisation and other TV shows. Godfrey is currently involved with organising jazz in West Sussex and also makes and repairs double basses.

Mike Carey trained at the London College of Music, and is experienced in all forms of performance - from Butlins to the QE2!

Cookie Jones had his first professional gig aged fifteen at London's Mandrake Club. He has recorded and performed regularly with "name" players from widely differing musical genres, including Don Rendall, Tito Puente, Alan Haven, C.C.S, Dennis Lotis, soul legends Eddie Floyd and Lovelace Watkins.
