The Tong piano duo partnership was formed in 1997 at the Royal Academy. They were prize-winners at the 2001 Schubert International Competition in the Czech Republic. Their London debut was at the Purcell Room and they have appeared at the Wigmore Hall and the Turner Sims Hall in Southampton. They broadcast live on the BBC programme "In Tune", and perform regularly in Japan. A recent CD, featuring Debussy's "La Mer" was received with critical acclaim.
The Tong Duo return to the Music Club by special request of members.
