Hugh Watkins is perhaps better known as a composer who has had remarkable success. His works have been performed by the Nash ensemble and major orchestras in the UK. He has performed at the Wigmore Hall and on the South Bank. He is not unknown to us, as he accompanied Emma Johnson a few years back when she was our celebrity recitalist.
"...a pianist of alert intelligence and a composer with something to say" (Independent on Sunday)
